Yamanashi Meijo
The Shichiken brewery is the 2nd largest producer of real Sparkling Sake in Japan. They work together with top sommeliers such as Gerard Margeon, to market the product abroad and invest a lot to optimally modernize their production process to deliver the best quality.
The brewery is located in Yamanashi Prefecture on the Ojiro River in Hakushu. This top river also provides the water for the Suntory Whisky. Shichiken even has a Sparkling sake that matured in one of the Whisky barrels of Suntory Whisky. This resulted in a product “Mori no Kanade”, a premium sparkling sake with a complex aroma in which maple syrup and vanilla are central. We are the exclusive importer for BeLux.
