Mori no Kura
The Mori no kura brewery from Fukuoka, on the southernmost island of Kyushu, makes irresistible sake with a very intense flavor. Located on the Tsukugo River since 1920, because of its excellent water quality, it upholds the Japanese tradition of delivering top quality.
Mori no Kura only works with Junmai sake or pure rice sake, as this reflects the traditional origin of nihonshu.
Sake brewed in this pure way with only water and rice is rich in “umami” and character. It can be enjoyed with a wide variety of dishes, and doesn’t cause a hangover either.
