Shichiken – Hoshi no Kagayaki Sparkling Sake

This sake was named after the starry sky of Hakushu region. Second fermentation in the bottle takes this daiginjo sake to new heights with an impressive first impact. A straight line of bubbles form and shimmer like stars. The aroma of pink grapefruit, marshmallows and cotton candy dances into the nose. Dry with a hint of sweetness, followed by a short, fresh finish with a lively sparkle that awakens the senses. Round and voluminous with lots of umami that will go with simple appetizers such as fois gras or white fish dishes will accentuate. Won Gold in Sparkling standard category of Kura Master 2020.
