This organic tea, native to Kagoshima in Japan, is a Fukamushi Sencha, which means it has gone through a longer steaming process than regular Sencha. The leaves of the Asanoka cultivar are lush and beautiful, with the powdery appearance typical of Fukamushitea.

As a result of this steam method combined with a hot final drying, this Sencha quickly draws into hot water (70 degrees C) and offers an intense flavor with a soft mouthfeel. The yellow-green liqueur is filming and tastes full and reveals a fresh and powerful steamed green aroma combined with a rich umami and slightly sweet undertones. Due to these properties, this tea is perfect for cold infusion in plain or sparkling water
