Ko No Tori of the Chikusen brewery (literally “the fountain of bamboo” that refers to the water of exceptional quality) is the diamond of the Chikusen range, a soft, elegant grand cru with a unique purity.
Ko no Tori is the epitome of excellence: a sake that respects traditional values and combines character with exquisite finesse. A delicate roundness in the mouth accompanies the rustic character of this large sake. The Ko No Tori is a Japanese stork that is very sensitive to the environment and as can be seen on the label, the name of this sake is a tribute to the nature-friendly actions of the local population over the past 20 years, which led to the return of the Ko No Tori in the region.
Optimally drunk heated (55°C), at room temperature (25 °C) or cold (16 °C).
