Japanese teapot Kyusu

 45,50

INCL. VAT

Original Japanese “Kyusu” or teapot in Banko Yaki technique (萬古焼), traditionally from Mie prefecture. These Japanese teapots are usually with a side handle and a fine sieve. Nice and handy, because the fine tea leaves cannot escape the teapot, which is more often the case with other teapots.

It is recommended to always put the same type of tea (e.g. green tea) in the teapot, because ceramics usually absorb and release taste. This is a natural and possibly desired effect, but better not to combine with other tea classes such as black tea or herbal infusions, which will affect the taste.

  • H: 90 mm
