Dong Ding Oolong Tea

Serve in a glass jug to enjoy the beautiful spectacle of the unfolding leaves. Make sure that the water has cooled sufficiently before pouring.

Dong Ding oolong tea originally comes from the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian province, China. This medium-fermented oolong is repeatedly slowly roasted over several days. The result is a tea with a robust flavour and notes of roasted barley, caramel, honey, and baked plum, with a characteristic sweet aftertaste. The tightly rolled leaves look like small balls and unfold beautifully during brewing.
