This organic, Japanese ceremonial Matcha "Zen" comes from Shibushi in Kagoshima Prefecture. The cultivar is Seimei and tastes top umami with an elegant aftertaste. The absolute highlight of our matcha selection, grown on a plantation that has been organic for 40 years and traditionally ground on a stone mill. Only available in extremely limited quantities.

How to make Matcha tea yourself:

Step 1: Sift 1 to 2 bamboo spoons of Matcha into a deep round bowl and gently grind.

Step 2: Add 70-75 ml of water at 75-80°C.

Step 3: Whisk in an "M" or "W" motion until you have a fine light green foam.
