Rou Gui Oolong
Delicious with a piece of mature cheese. Multiple infusions possible.
This dark Oolong tea comes from the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian province, China, known for its Oolong rock tea. "Rou Gui" literally means Cassia or Chinese cinnamon, referring to the sweet aroma of sugar bread, speculaas, cinnamon, and frangipane. Up to 80% oxidised, with a sharp, clear, and pleasantly bitter aftertaste with a distinct cinnamon accent and a sweet, milky undertone.
