This sake comes from the Tottori prefecture in Japan, a mountainous area, known for its high quality of water.

Flavour profile: Fruity, Plum, apricot, almond… The almond aroma observed in cold gives way to a nutty aroma in hot use.

The umesaké no kyo is a unique drink, which is the result of maceration of a variety of Japanese fruits including plums and apricots, and a sake made according to the purest traditions. The master brewer Umetsu san, from the same house as the “Yama” sake, maceates this divine drink for 18 to 24 months in one of its own sakes, giving it an exceptional taste.In the mouth, this very powerful sake tastes perfectly balanced. The sweet onset is balanced with an aftertaste that is close to the original acidity of the fruit.

Optimally drunk heated (55°C) or cold (17 °C).

This mature sake fits perfectly as an aperitif or with rich desserts with chocolate.
Once opened, 3 weeks to store in the refrigerator, 15 years in the basement.
